Tokyo Shopping Guide: Okadaya

Okadaya

Okadaya is a great craft supplies store in the heart of Shinjuku – a great one-stop shop if you don’t have time to travel around. There are six floors full of fabric, sewing supplies, yarn, kits, notions and craft books.

Each of the floors is split into two big areas, one being purely fabric so that’s six floors of fabric! It caters to all kinds of creatives though with departments for costuming, stage makeup, jewellery making, nail art and much more.

How to get there

Okadaya is close to the East Exit of JR Shinjuku station. Check the link for a map and floor guide (in Japanese – use Chrome to translate)
